Rebirth Empowerment Academy
"U NITE"
- Each Friday night, the Rebirth Empowerment Academy and the Evergreen State College-Tacoma Campus hosts an all-inclusive multi-activity venue supervised by Academy staff, the Community Preservation Alliance, and run by academy youth participants and Tacoma-Pierce County youth. “U-Nite” is a structured framework for integrated community collaborations & partnerships to 1) provide innovative youth/adult outcome-based programs and activities, 2) a safe, constructive, venue for youth and adults: “U Nite®” @ The Evergreen State College-Tacoma Campus.

- Hygiene and Personal Health
- Media: Music, Film Production, other
- Performing arts and personal expression
- Family Activities
- Cross-Generational Activities
- Other
- This effort/venue demonstrates the power of our Community Preservation Alliance collaboration model, affording organizations the opportunity to showcase their services and community support in an altruistic setting. Youth have the opportunity and support to engage in real-time leadership and program/project operations and witness real collaboration. Most importantly, the community is “U-NITED” by a shared vision of community health.
