Rebirth Empowerment Academy Gallery APPLIED LEADERSHIP-SEPT. 27, 2025
On September 27, 2025, the Rebirth Empowerment Academy, in partnership with the Evergreen State College-Tacoma Campus and the University of Washington Press presented : "FIGHTING FOR THE PUYALLUP TRIBE a memoir" by Ramona Bennett Bill BOOK LAUNCH at the Evergreen State College-Tacoma Campus. Ramona Bennett is a legendary Tribal elder, advocate for Native Rights, Child Welfare, and justice for all. Academy Student Leaders highlighted this leadership venue, greeting over 200 guests, including Puyallup Tribal Council Members, the President, Vice-President, Provost, & Dean of Students for Evergreen State College, and other Community Leaders and Tribal representatives. They catered to our elders, bringing food, beverages, and Student Leader "Elise Brown" was assigned to take care of Ramona Bennett personally.
