Rebirth Empowerment Academy Gallery MODULE 2-INTER/CROSS CULTURAL CONNECTIONS-OCT. 11, 2025

Our MODULE 3: INTER/CROSS CULTURAL CONNECTIONS lead by Academy Leaders MUH-HUH-LEEN/MIKE HALL (Clinket-Tlingit Tribe) and AH-BEAD-SOOT (Puyallup Tribe) was beautiful, successful, and met all expectations and objectives for our Academy! We connected culture to leadership and provided hands on cultural connections. Our student leaders engaged in real-time cross cultural sharing with respect for each other and discovering how EMPATHY, INTEGRITY, DISCIPLINE and ACCOUNTABILITY are necessary when engaging with other cultures and sharing our own. Our student leaders made traditional Native American/Indian drums: soaking deer hides, hand made cedar wood framing, dying the hides, wrapping the hides, weaving and tying paracord webbing, resulting in seven beautiful drums made by the students to keep forever.
